Heavy Cover Line

One of the best big bass techniques is flipping and pitching around heavy cover. It can be wood cover like lay down logs or brush piles or even willow trees, it can be vegetation like lilly pads or hydrilla. When you're fishing heavy cover, you need line that is highly abrasion resistant. Silver Thread Excalibur has high tensile strength and most importantly high knot strength. When you're setting the hook close to those fish you need something that is going to hold up and not break down in that heavy cover. One of the biggest things when fishing heavy cover is really penetrating in tight and getting those big bass to bite.
